The Human Rights Campaign Foundation has given Bama a score of 95 on its 2019 corporate equality index. That means Bama ties with ONEOK for the highest tally in the entire state of Oklahoma.
The HRC looks at four different categories when determining its ranking: nondiscrimination policies, employment benefits, an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.
In addition to the high score from the HRC this year, Bama has been awarded as a Top Inclusive Workplace by Mosaic, the Tulsa Regional Chamber’s diversity business council, in 2014, 2015 and 2017. We’ve also been honored by Oklahomans for Equality for having protections for transgender team members.
We’ve been striving for decades to make Bama a safe, welcoming place to work for anybody. Our non-discrimination clause includes sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression, and our medical benefits are trans-inclusive. We care about our workers, and we will continue to help all our people be successful.
